Clay is a Biological Safety Professional with over 12 years of safety, compliance, infection-control and decontamination experience with particular expertise in biosafety program development, implementation and facility compliance. Wardlaw’s unique experience in compliance assessment spans the spectrum from working with several of America’s leading healthcare and university systems in the United States to developing business-specific programs for tailored needs.
Clay Wardlaw has been instrumental in building comprehensive certification programs at several healthcare facilities and large research universities. Leading his team at SafetyPlus, Clay is responsible for the certification management and compliance oversight of nearly 2000 laboratories including BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL3+ facilities.
Mr. Wardlaw has been sought as an expert in several facility planning and programming activities across the United States, working with government agencies, private industry, pharmaceutical manufacturers, universities, and healthcare.
